A landslide, triggered by the relentless heavy rains of Tropical Storm #BasyangPH, claimed the lives of four family members on Thursday night, February 5, 2026.
The incident occurred around 10 PM in Zone 1, Brgy. Agusan. The Cagayan de Oro City Information Office confirmed the fatalities were a married couple, Paul Lariosa and his wife, along with their 13-year-old child and their 11-month-old infant.
A surviving relative stated the family was already asleep when the earth suddenly gave way, completely burying their home.
