Fuel prices are set for mixed movement this week, with motorists expected to see increases in gasoline and diesel prices while kerosene will decline starting Tuesday.
In separate advisories on Monday, Shell, Seaoil, and Unioil announced that diesel prices will increase by P2.82 per liter, while gasoline prices will go up by P1.21 per liter.
Shell and Seaoil also said kerosene prices will be reduced by P2.11 per liter.
Jetti Oil issued a separate advisory with slightly different adjustments, projecting diesel prices to rise by P2.80 per liter and gasoline by P1.20 per liter.
The changes will take effect Tuesday across participating fuel stations nationwide.
Oil companies routinely implement weekly price adjustments based on movements in global crude oil prices, foreign exchange rates, and other market factors affecting import and distribution costs.
The latest round of adjustments reflects a continued fluctuation in fuel prices, with consumers again facing higher costs for transport fuel while benefiting from a rollback in kerosene used for household purposes.
