The Department of Energy (DOE) has released an updated list of fuel discount programs available as of April 27, offering relief to public utility drivers, private motorists, and transport network vehicle service (TNVS) riders.
According to the DOE, the government continues to coordinate with oil companies to maintain and expand fuel discount programs aimed at easing the burden of oil costs on Filipinos who rely on the road for their livelihood and daily transportation.
Beneficiaries include public utility vehicle (PUV) and public utility jeepney (PUJ) drivers, TNVS drivers, delivery riders, and private motorists.
For PUV/PUJ Drivers
Caltex
StarDriver Program (Continuous Program)
• ₱2.50 off per liter on gasoline
• ₱1.50 off per liter on diesel
• ₱10 off on lubricants
Shell
Automatic PUV Discount (Continuous Program)
• Minimum of ₱1 off per liter
