Rooted in Cebuano culture, Padayon embodies the inherently Bisaya spirit to keep going despite hardships. At the heart of Padadyon Croissants and Coffee is the belief that every Cebuano deserves quality that matches their effort and that a cup of coffee and freshly baked croissant isn’t merely a simple indulgence but a steady source of motivation to keep moving forward.
Every inspirational story begins with a cup of coffee and a freshly baked treat to pair. With Padayon Croissants and Coffee set to launch its flagship store in Ayala Malls Central Bloc in IT Park, Cebuanos can look forward to a café and patisserie experience featuring decadent croissants, specialty coffee and flavors meant to inspire. The premier cafe and patisserie will officially hold its grand launch on Saturday, September 12, 2026.
Padayon’s lineup features a variety of croissants, including the Biscoff Crunch, Mango Royale, Pistachio Kiss, Citrus Creme, Strawberry Confetti and more, with specialty coffee that utilizes specially-sourced beans, complementing the patisserie experience. Its box of three croissants is priced at P185 and its half-a-dozen box is priced at P325.
With its already affordable offerings, the cafe also has promo bundles for patrons to enjoy. Patrons who purchase a half-dozen box of croissants can get a 10% discount on their coffee order. And it doesn’t end there! Padayon will also offer an “End of Day” Pastry Promo, where all pastries will be available at 50% off during the last hour before closing.
Beyond serving quality coffee and hearty pastries, Padayon Croissants and Coffee carries a bigger mission: to share unique Cebuano stories and flavors to the world. As a homegrown Cebuano brand, the cafe hopes to open more opportunities for employment for fellow Sugbuanons, partnering with the city’s steady growth in commerce. Its vision extends beyond the city, with aspirations of eventually bringing the Padayon café experience to the global market and introducing international audiences to distinct Cebuano flavors and spirit.
When you enter Padayon Croissants and Coffee, you get the instant feel that it is a brand that spotlights Cebuano craftsmanship and culture. Designed by Yaoto Architects + Partners, with Ar. Farina Yaoto and Ar. Eugene Yaoto at the helm of the design, the interiors of the café bring a perfect marriage between Cebuano and French cultures that inherently represent the brand.
Architect Farina Yaoto shared, “We wanted the place to have little touches of Cebuano culture and to not make it strictly perfect-looking to really bring in the brand’s message of pushing through despite imperfections and setbacks. We wanted the interior to have a flowing feel, embracing patchwork forms and subtle imperfections, creating a space that is homey for patrons to relax, catch up with friends, and be their oasis.”
Padayon hopes to celebrate the grit of every Cebuano and inspire people, wherever they may be in the world, to keep moving forward for a brighter future. The venture is led by Bethel San Juan, Don Macchiatos Group of Companies (DMGC) Chief Executive Officer, Ariel Alegado DMGC Chief Operating Officer, together with Edclar Loga, DMGC Operations Manager.
Padayon Croissants and Cafe is open daily at Level 4, Ayala Malls Central Bloc, IT Park, Cebu City, from Sunday to Thursday, 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and from Friday to Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
